Frank Cooke Gives an Exclusive Look at the adidas Floral Top Ten
The Top Ten was a staple on basketball courts nationwide during the ’70s and ’80s; now they’ve been remixed and readied in time for the basketball-related festivities in February. There has been much talk lately about the new highly anticipated adidas Yeezy 750 Boost, but where those lack a visual punch the new Top Ten Floral lays down a number of stylistic haymakers.
Rocking this fusion of the old and new school is Cooked Up’s own Frank Cooke, former Wish ATL creative also responsible for the Black History Month Years t-shirt that’s been making the rounds on the Internet, seen on several professional ball players. In these exclusive shots provided by Mae Elizabeth, we get a sampling of the sneaker and its neck-breaking visual appeal.
Frank notes that the mixture of materials, when it comes to the Floral Top Ten is one of the reasons adidas Originals is a major player in the shoe game right now, and is a brand that sneaker fans need to pay very close attention to now and in the future.
In addition to the all-over snakeskin floral design, the shoe gets an added bit of luxe: To compliment the shoe’s look there are a few design hits for added pop, including brass lace loops and hidden eyelets, and golden adidas Trefoil and “Top Ten” branding on the heel of the sneaker.
These new classics are now available via adidas retailers, and are sure to be the first of many in a number of upcoming eye-catching releases from adidas.
