We’re definitely fans of artists envisioning creative ways to spruce up an otherwise boring bike rack, so this giant comb really caught our eye. After the city of Roanoke in Virginia was designated as a bicycle friendly community by the League of American Bicyclists, the city’s public art fund commissioned a number of artistic bike racks to be fabricated. The giant comb rack was made by Joshua Howell and Kagan Taylor of the co-op design studio and workshop Knowhow Shop in Los Angeles, who constructed the 400-pound rack out of Mangaris wood.
