Limited Edition Mitchell & Ness Snapbacks Launched For This Weekend

Fashion labels and sneaker brands have been turning their attention toward New York City over the past weeks as countless collections and exclusive designs have been unveiled in celebration of this weekend’s Big Game at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

The latest name to dedicate designs to the event is recognized sports clothing company Mitchell & Ness. The brand recently put forth a promotional video to accompany the release of “New York for New York,” their new line of headwear and apparel.

The clip is commentated by Victor Osorio, the Senior Designer of Mitchell & Ness’s Headwear sector, who takes us through the manufacturing process of some pieces from their newly dropped range of snapbacks. From the initial design to material selection to assembly, the video provides insight into the esteemed brand’s production process.

The video shows us three hat designs. One iteration boasts New York’s signature blue and orange; a Brooklyn-only version stays true to its black and white scheme, while a third style comes in a team-neutral forest green colorway. The Brooklyn and New York hats come equipped with premium leather brims and some brand labeling around the back.

In the video, Osorio tells us that the caps will be available for purchase at the Barclays Center during the game this weekend, as well as at top retailers around the city. For non-New Yorkers, the hats (along with the Mitchell & Ness All-Star Collection in full) can be copped via the brand’s online shop.
