4. Action Bronson

At this point you'd be hard pressed to find many hip-hop fans who weren't at least partially familiar with Action Bronson, but before the release of his Mr. Wonderful album, they might know him more for his cooking shows, video, and live show antics than his actual music.

This month Mr. Wonderful changed all that. An album helmed by mega-producers like Mark Ronson and Noah "40" Shebib, this album showed that Bronson is both one of the more purely interesting people in music and an artist capable of making a truly innovative album. Take one listen to "Baby Blue," which finds him rapping alongside fellow rule-breaker Chance the Rapper, and tell us Action isn't on another level right now.
