Peep Shwood’s New Line of Wooden Eyewear

Purveyors of wooden eyewear, Shwood, have just released their Spring-Summer 2015 collection.

Shwood has been at the forefront of the wooden eyewear trend ever since they launched in 2005. Each of their frames are handcrafted during a twenty-step process at their Portland-based workshop and fit with Carl Zeiss lenses.

This season’s line introduces a mix of new materials and colors, including exotic wood grains, animal horn, two-tone acetates, and industrial-inspired titanium.

The new materials are available in a range of the brand’s top selling RX eyewear and sunglass silhouettes including the wayfarer-inspired Canby and the rectangular-shaped Haystack.

This season marks the first time their popular Prescott frame will be offered in mixed material Fifty/Fifty Acetate and Fifty/Fifty Titanium.

The frames retail from $105 to $350 and can be found on Shwood’s site and in Nordstrom stores nationwide.
