Via Colori Street Painting Festival In Houston
We all remember the days when chalk drawings were the go-to activity on the playground. Thankfully, The Center for Hearing and Speech decided to bring the city of Houston a bit of nostalgia with the Via Colori Street Painting Festival. The fun-filled event takes over Downtown Houston at Hermann Square/City Hall, and the surrounding streets of McKinney, Bagby and Walker, for two days of unique chalk paintings. Art from over 200 artists will only cover the streets for the duration of the festival, so don’t miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime experience. The Via Colori Street Painting Festival takes place Saturday (November 22) from 10AM to 6PM and Sunday (November 23) from 10AM to 5PM.
All of the proceeds from Via Colori benefit The Center for Hearing and Speech, a 501 (c)(3) organization that identifies and serves children with hearing impairments.
